Discover the irresistible flavor of Hot Honey Pizza with this delightful recipe! Featuring spicy pepperoni, creamy ricotta, and sweet hot honey drizzle. Ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 store-bought flatbread or pizza dough
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup slices of pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  2. Lightly brush one side of the flatbread with olive oil to help achieve a crispy crust.
  3. On the non-oiled side of the flatbread, spread ricotta cheese evenly, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over ricotta layer, then arrange pepperoni slices evenly on top.
  5. Sprinkle dried oregano, salt, and pepper over the top for added flavor.
  6. Transfer flatbread to baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden brown.
  7. Immediately drizzle hot honey over entire pizza to infuse flavors while hot.
  8. Let cool for one minute, garnish with fresh basil if desired, slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use pizza stone for crispiest crust if available. Don’t overload with toppings to ensure even cooking.
  • Adjust hot honey amount based on spice preference. Fresh basil added after baking provides best flavor and color.
