Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 wheels brie cheese (one plain, one cranberry-topped)
  • 8 oz aged cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 6 oz goat cheese with herbs
  • 2 boxes assorted holiday crackers (rosemary, cranberry)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup candied pecans
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 4 oz prosciutto, folded into roses
  • 6 oz salami, sliced
  • 8 oz fig jam or cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup mixed olives
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start with a large wooden board or festive red platter as your base and position in final serving location.
  2. Position brie wheels and goat cheese at different points on board, creating triangle points for visual balance.
  3. Arrange cheddar cubes in small clusters near the cheeses, leaving space for crackers.
  4. Fan out crackers in several sections around board, overlapping slightly for elegant presentation.
  5. Create holly berries using fresh cranberries in small piles throughout the board for festive color.
  6. Roll prosciutto into rose shapes and place strategically as focal points on the board.
  7. Fill remaining spaces with dried cranberries, candied pecans, and green grapes using different heights.
  8. Add small bowls for jams with small spoons, positioning where they won’t tip easily.
  9. Finish by garnishing with fresh rosemary sprigs for Christmas tree aroma throughout serving area.

Notes

  • Remove cheeses from refrigerator 30-45 minutes before serving for best texture and flavor development.
  • Practice folding prosciutto into roses beforehand – it’s easier than it looks and adds elegant presentation.
