Delightful fusion of classic American cheeseburger flavors with Southern comfort. Savory beef, gooey cheese, and biscuit-like Bisquick crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned and onion is tender, about 6-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Mix well.
  4. Transfer beef mixture to greased 9-inch pie plate and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over beef mixture.
  6. In medium bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and Bisquick mix until completely smooth.
  7. Pour Bisquick mixture over beef and cheese in pie plate.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until top is golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Allow pie to cool 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
