This high-protein bread is made with egg whites, whey protein, almond flour, and psyllium husk for a fluffy, low-carb loaf perfect for any meal.

  • 10 large egg whites
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unflavored whey protein powder
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon psyllium husk powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large dry bowl, whisk egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add whey protein, almond flour, psyllium husk powder, and baking powder. Whisk on low until combined.
  4. Transfer to loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Turn off oven, crack door, and let cool for 30 minutes before removing.
  6. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Use room temperature eggs for better whipping.
  • 8×4 inch loaf pan gives best results.
  • Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to one week.
