These Greek Yogurt Bagels are quick, easy, and made with just a few ingredients—perfect for a healthier homemade breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (plus ~¼ cup extra for kneading)
  • 1 cup 0% Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg, whisked (for brushing)
  • Everything but the bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add Greek yogurt and mix by hand until a shaggy dough forms. Add extra flour as needed.
  4. Transfer dough to floured surface and knead for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into 4 pieces, roll into strands, and shape into bagels.
  6. Place bagels on baking sheet. Brush with whisked egg and add seasoning.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • Freeze up to 2 months—slice before freezing for easy toasting.
  • Toast from fridge or freezer for best texture.
