Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz medium cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 container mozzarella balls (8 oz)
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices
  • 4 oz salami, folded or rolled
  • 3 oz prosciutto
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 2 kiwi fruits, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 3 varieties round crackers
  • 45 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Small star cookie cutter

Instructions

  1. Visualize ornament shape on large serving board and arrange cheddar stars in curved line for ornament cap.
  2. Form zig-zag lines with salami and prosciutto to create ornament body, working from top to bottom.
  3. Fill spaces between meat lines with mozzarella balls and berries, alternating colors for visual impact.
  4. Arrange circular crackers around perimeter and throughout board to reinforce ornament shape.
  5. Tuck kiwi slices and pepperoni into remaining gaps, folding pepperoni for dimension.
  6. Place rosemary sprigs at top of ornament design to represent hanging loop and add aromatic appeal.

Notes

  • Use 3-3-3-3 rule: three cheeses, three meats, three starches, three fruits for balanced variety.
  • Prepare star-shaped cheese cuts ahead of time. Board can be assembled 2 hours in advance if covered and refrigerated.
