This easy chive cream cheese spread blends softened cream cheese, fresh chopped chives, and spices for a savory, fluffy topping or dip.

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt or ½ tablespoon milk, optional

Instructions

  1. Leave cream cheese at room temperature for 1 hour or microwave 5 seconds per side until soft.
  2. Finely chop the chives.
  3. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Add yogurt or milk 1 tablespoon at a time for fluffier texture.
  4. Refrigerate up to 1 week.
  5. Optional: To make whipped version, add ½ tablespoon milk and whip in food processor. Add chives and pulse to mix.
