Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (or kefir)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten (optional, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together Greek yogurt and buttermilk in a large bowl.
  3. Sift in flour, baking powder, salt, and mix until a dough forms. Adjust with more buttermilk or flour as needed.
  4. Fold in blueberries gently.
  5. Divide dough into 5–6 balls. Poke a hole in the center of each to shape into bagels.
  6. Brush tops with egg wash if desired.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes. Broil 2 minutes until golden—watch carefully.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Store in airtight container at room temp or refrigerate.
  • Use gluten-free flour if preferred.
  • Milk can replace egg wash.
  • Frozen blueberries work fine.
