Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) lean ground beef (90/10 recommended)
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups shredded lettuce or chopped romaine
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, ketchup, pickle relish, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Cover and refrigerate while you prepare the rest.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and break apart with a wooden spoon. Cook 7 to 9 minutes until fully browned with no pink remaining. Drain excess fat carefully.
  3. Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook one more minute until fragrant. Remove from heat.
  4. Divide shredded lettuce evenly among four serving bowls.
  5. Top each bowl with seasoned ground beef, cherry tomatoes, chopped pickles, diced red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Drizzle the chilled special sauce over each Big Mac Bowl and serve immediately while beef is still warm.

Notes

  • Use 90/10 lean ground beef to avoid excess grease in the bowl.
  • If Greek yogurt seems watery, drain through a fine mesh strainer before mixing the sauce.
  • For meal prep, store beef, sauce, and vegetables separately and assemble fresh each day for best texture.
  • Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top for an extra Big Mac-inspired finishing touch.
  • The special sauce can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
