These easy cottage cheese bagels need just three ingredients and bake up golden and delicious. Perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 1 cup self-rising flour, plus more for dusting
  • 1 egg
  • (Optional) Everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, or poppy seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Blend cottage cheese until smooth using a blender or food processor.
  3. Mix with flour in a bowl until dough forms.
  4. Divide into 4 pieces, roll each into a log, and shape into bagels.
  5. Whisk the egg and brush over each bagel.
  6. Add desired toppings.
  7. Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
  8. Air Fryer Option: Preheat air fryer to 350°F and cook for 10–12 minutes.

Notes

  • Store in airtight container at room temperature for 1–2 days.
  • Freeze sliced bagels up to 3 months.
